SUMMARY:Ceramic Whistle & Flute Making Workshop – Jim Ransom
DESCRIPTION:In this two-session workshop, you will create with clay and make music. Jim will take you on a musical journey. In the first session, you will make two types of whistles. Jim provides tips, insightful guidance and detailed handouts. You will learn simple tool making and ways to tune your musical instrument. During the second session, Jim will share more complex techniques and flute building will be covered and techniques for glazing. Materials are provided, bisque and glaze firing are included. Limited to 10 students age 14 years and older. $90 for 2 day workshop Saturday June 22 and June 29. 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
