SUMMARY:Wednesday Evening Beginning Wheel – Jim Ransom
DESCRIPTION:Explore the basic skills of wheel throwing and glazing in this beginner-friendly class. Students will learn a variety of throwing, trimming, and glazing techniques while creating plates, mugs, and bowls. No previous clay experience is required. Limited to 10 students. Participants must be 18 years or older and will need basic tools (available for purchase at the Willamette Art Center). One 25 lb. bag of clay is included. Class details: Duration: 8 weeks (April 2 – May 28) Meets weekly* from Wednesday, April 2 – May 28, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Cost: $245 Due to our upcoming move, the spring session will not include a bonus week (week 9). Please note: WAC will be closed from April 21 – 27. As a result, a make-up week has been added to the end of each class.
