Family Clay is open to families, couples, or anyone wanting to make an easy project, experience working with clay, or learn more about the studio. Bring the whole family and create magical memories for your family.

Pre-registration allows you to pay in advance and saves time checking in, but is not required.

  • 11 am – 12 pm for Early Birds
  • 12 – 3 pm for Regular Family Clay

Early Bird hour is for families that prefer a quieter setting and simpler projects.

Cost

  • $5 per artist to create a new project on the first Sunday of the month.
  • $5 for glazing day on the third Sunday of the month. We will offer bisque pieces to purchase at $5 each for those who didn’t attend the first Sunday session so everyone can enjoy glaze day.

Policies

Ceramic Retention Policy

To help us manage studio space and ensure that finished work is cared for appropriately, the studio maintains a limited retention period for ceramic pieces.

Bisque-Fired Work

Ceramic pieces will be held by the studio for three months from the date the piece is made. These bisque-fired pieces will be stored in the classroom while they are waiting to be glazed.

Glazed Work

Once a piece has been glazed, it will be held for an additional three months from the date of glazing. This provides time for the piece to be collected or otherwise arranged for.

After the Retention Period

After the applicable retention period has passed, pieces that have not been collected or otherwise arranged for will be considered unclaimed and may be discarded or repurposed by the studio. The studio is unable to guarantee the preservation or storage of pieces beyond these timeframes.

We understand that circumstances may occasionally prevent work from being collected within the stated timeframe. If you anticipate needing additional time, please contact the studio as soon as possible so that we can discuss whether an extension may be possible.
