Evening Raku – Doug Dacar

In this class, we focus on Raku firing and surface decoration experimentation. Clay-building demonstrations and specialized slips will enhance your work, while horsehair, feathers, copper, and glass can be incorporated for unique effects. Bring bisqueware pieces to glaze and fire at the first session.

Participants must have prior experience and be 18 years or older. The class is limited to ten students. One 25 lb. bag of clay and open studio time are included.

Class details:

• Duration: 8 weeks (April 7 – June 2)
• Schedule: Meets weekly on Mondays, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Cost: $245

Due to our upcoming move, the spring session will not include a bonus week (week 9).

Please note: WAC will be closed from April 21 – 27. As a result, a make-up week has been added to the end of each class.
